Are submitted time entries able to be moved to a different week?

Hello,
It appears that once a time entry is submitted, it is permanently associated with the week in which it was submitted.  If an employee submits a time card for one week and then realizes the entries were intended for a different week, the employee then must re-enter every single entry in the correct week.  There does not appear to be a way to manually move a time entry to another week. Is this correct? Is there a way to move time entries, or ideally an entire weeks worth of entries to another week?

Thanks,
Dave Veits

Hi David,

You are correct that there is not a way currently to move a time entry from one week to another. They can only be moved to different days within the same week. This functionality has always been the same for our time entry system.

You may have been referencing this question as it is essentially the same as yours: https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/Forums/Questions/Details?ID=103186

The answer to that question was incorrect and is in the process of being updated at this time to reflect accurate information.

I hope this has fully answered your questions. If there is anything else I can clarify for you please let me know.

David,

We do not currently have any plans to make changes to the time entry system to allow moving entries between weeks. You can submit an enhancement request for consideration to ask for the feature to be added in a future version of the system. To do so go to this link.

If there is anything else I can do for you on this question please let me know.

Sincerely,

Are there any plans to improve the time entry system specifically with regards to this shortcoming?
