Classifications and categories

Hi, is there a way to tie categories to a specific classification? I would want this to work in the same way that types are associated with categories. So the hierarchy would simply look like Classification > Category > Type.

We have two classifications "incident" and "service request" for which we want to create distinct categories, and currently the categories can be tied to either.

Hi Wesley,

Currently the system does not allow for tying Ticket Type Categories to a specific Ticket Classification. Ticket Types can be tied to any Type Category, but Type Categories do not currently connect to anything. This is an interesting idea however, and I would recommend you visit our Service Catalog and submit an enhancement to have this feature added.
