Ability to assign ticket workflow

My team members do not have the ability to invoke a ticket approval workflow.  When they click on their green Actions button in the ticket that is assigned to them, they don’t have Assign Workflow as an option.  I have looked on the edit security role page of their security role and I see no mention of this power.  I have looked on the Applications page of their accounts and I see no mention of granting this type of power.  I have looked on the TD Permissions and Modules Matrix (with Descriptions) - TeamDynamix v9 x - 10 22 2015 spreadsheet.  There is no mention there of limiting this type of power for team members.  So, what is preventing them from assigning workflows?

Hi Dawn,

To assign a ticket to a workflow, users will need to either be the reviewer for the ticket or be part of the reviewing group, or they would need to have the permission to Edit all tickets regardless of type.

I hope this helps you get your users set to assign workflows. If you have any problems with this, or have any further questions, please let me know.

Dawn,

The permission mentioning editing all tickets regardless of type is available from the ticketing application security role. Go to Admin>Ticketing Application>[Your ticketing app]>Security Roles and you will see the permission under the Ticket section.
