Hi Albert,

There are a couple ways to determine the appID for an application. The first is to look at the URL for a ticket belonging to that application. If we look at the following ticket URL as an example, , the appID is 129. It will always be between the number between the generic "Apps" directory and the more specific application - tickets in this case.

The other way to find the appID is via the Admin application. Go to Admin -> Ticketing Applications -> [Select a specific ticketing application] -> you will now see some main details displayed for that application. Below the title, it should say "ID: 123", where 123 is the appID.

I hope this helps add some clarity. If you have any additional questions, please let us know.

Is there a way to get the appID from within a workflow so that it can be used as a parameter for a workflow web method? - Bobby Jones Thu 12/16/21 2:50 PM
AppID (assuming you want the app ID of the ticket which the workflow is currently running *on*) can be obtained "From Ticket" when you are adding parameters for a web service method. - Mark Sayers Thu 12/16/21 2:57 PM
