How are items populated in the Calendar Application?

In the Calendar Application within TDNext, there are a variety of items being pulled into my Calendar, how are these items being pulled in, and how do I save which items are listed in my Filter gear?

The filtering options are saved via your browser's cookies, so once you set that in the browser you use, those settings should be sticky. 

As far as how the items are being pulled in, an assumption for all possible items seen there is that you have access to the entity where the desired event would originate from. Exempli Gratia, a Workspace, Project, etc. You must first be on the project in order to see the project related events displayed in the Calendar. If you are many projects, then there is the potential to see many different events on your Calendar. You can also filter down to the Workspace or Project level to bring more specificity to the Calendar. This can be done by clicking on the magnifying glass and selecting the desired entity. 

Please note that as of version 9.0, items from the Calendar can be pushed out and pulled into other calendar apps, but items cannot be pulled into TD from outside TD. Exempli Gratia, a SharePoint Calendar, etc.
