Functional Role Removal when number of allocated users is zero

I cannot delete functional roles when:
* I have re-assigned users to a new & different functional role
* The number of users under this functional role is zero

I want to clean up our functional roles list.
However, if a user was requested with an old functional role, it cannot be removed.
I get a system message saying that this functional role is related to resource request or broadcast.
Does it make sense?

Please let me know how to proceed to delete functional roles that do not have assigned any user.

Hi Carmen,

You can use the "Reassociate" function to move any users, forecasts, and requests to another functional role. Simply choose the role you want to delete in the "Reassociate From" box, then select the role you want all of the items to move into in the "To" box, then click "Reassociate" at the top.

After you reassociate the items away from the "From" role, you will be able to delete it.

I hope this helps!
