% Complete on Plan

· I have a *project* called ‘DHCP – Move Static IPs to
Reservations’.

· Within that project is a *plan* called ‘Moving Static IPs to DHCP
Reservations’, this is the only plan in the project.

· If I look at the % complete on the plan, it indicates that it’s
100% complete. However, there are tasks that are not 100% complete.

So how is the plan 100% complete when there are some tasks that are not
complete?

Please advise.

Hi Michael,

Do the tasks in the plan have estimated hours? % complete on a task is calculated by

(estimated hours - remaining hours) / estimated hours

If there are no estimated hours, it will never show as complete and it will also not affect the overall % complete of the plan which calculates from total remaining hours of all tasks in the plan / total estimated hours of all tasks in the plan.
