Overview
Users who authenticate using the built-in TeamDynamix authentication may wish to change their password. A common question is where to go to change your password.
It should be noted that this article only applies to users who authenticate with the standard TeamDynamix authentication. If you sign in using a Single Sign On (SSO) provider or using your Active Directory / LDAP credentials, password reset options are not available. These must be managed in your external SSO or Active Directory / LDAP system.
To Change Your Password
- Log in to the TDNext application at yourorganization.teamdynamix.com/TDNext (if you have a custom URL, simply put /TDNext at the end).
- In the top right corner, click your name.
- From the list of options, click Reset Password.
Administrator
Users with access to the Admin application can reset passwords on a user's behalf, and then have them set a custom password using the steps above.
- Log in to the TDAdmin application at yourorganization.teamdynamix.com/TDAdmin (if you have a custom URL, simply put /TDAdmin at the end).
- From the left menu, click Users and Roles, then click Users.
- From the list of users, click a user name. Alternately, use the search bar to find a specific user, then click on their name. A user details page will open.
- At the top left corner of the new page, click Actions, then click Reset Password.
