Overview
This article documents the keyboard shortcuts specific to the CI Relationship Map. Standard keyboard navigation works throughout the toolbar and node controls.
Moving Nodes
Each CI node has a drag handle that allows it to be repositioned on the canvas. To move a node using the keyboard:
- Tab to the node’s drag handle.
- Press Enter or Space to activate the drag handle. The node will display a visual indicator to show that it is ready to be moved.
- Use the arrow keys to reposition the node on the canvas:
- Arrow Up moves the node up
- Arrow Down moves the node down
- Arrow Left moves the node left
- Arrow Right moves the node right
- Press Enter or Space to place the node in its new position, or press Esc to cancel the move and return the node to its original position.
Note: screen reader users using NVDA should press Ctrl + Enter to activate the drag handle, then use NVDA + F2 followed by the arrow keys to move the node. Press Enter or Space to place the node, or Esc to cancel.
