Moving Nodes

Each CI node has a drag handle that allows it to be repositioned on the canvas. To move a node using the keyboard:

  1. Tab to the node’s drag handle.
  2. Press Enter or Space to activate the drag handle. The node will display a visual indicator to show that it is ready to be moved.
  3. Use the arrow keys to reposition the node on the canvas:
    • Arrow Up moves the node up
    • Arrow Down moves the node down
    • Arrow Left moves the node left
    • Arrow Right moves the node right
  4. Press Enter or Space to place the node in its new position, or press Esc to cancel the move and return the node to its original position.

Note: screen reader users using NVDA should press Ctrl + Enter to activate the drag handle, then use NVDA + F2 followed by the arrow keys to move the node. Press Enter or Space to place the node, or Esc to cancel.
