Adding an Alternate Project Manager

How can I add an alternate manager to a project?

Answer

1. Within a project, select Resources from the left navigation menu
2. Ensure that the user is listed as a Resource on the project. (Article - Working with Project Resources)
3. From the Actions drop down choose Change Manager
4. Select the check box next to the user(s) that you would like to make Alternate Managers
5. Save

Additional Information

• Only a the main Project Manager on a project can add additional users as Alternate Managers.
• Users must have access to TDNext and the Projects application to be added as an Alternate Manager.
