Who can use this feature?
- Tickets are deleted via TDAdmin
- License Requirement: Enterprise
- Administrative Access: User must be a Global Administrator with the Delete Tickets administrator permission
Note that Ticketing application administrators cannot delete tickets unless they have the necessary permissions listed above. Users who are only Ticketing Application administrators are not permitted to delete tickets.
Deleting a ticket permanently removes it and all associated data from the system. Because this action is irreversible, the ability to delete tickets is restricted to Global Administrators with an explicitly granted deletion permission.
Be cautious when deleting tickets. Deleted ticket data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
To delete a ticket:
- In TDAdmin, go to Applications.
- Select the Ticketing Applications that the ticket is in.
- Click Tickets in the left menu
- Select the ticket Title.
- In the ticket detail window, click the Delete button and confirm the action.
