Creating and Configuring Knowledge Stores

Body

A knowledge store is a feature that defines a database in which one or more Knowledge Sets can be stored. Knowledge Stores are the backbone for the Generative AI features in TeamDynamix Conversational A.I.

A default Knowledge store is assigned to each customer by TeamDynamix

 

TeamDynamix offers customers to connect to the following Vector Databases

  1. Azure Cosmos DB (Default provided by TeamDynamix)
  2. Azure AI Search
  3. Azure Mongo DB
  4. Pinecone

 

Creating Customer Knowledge Store

  1. Go to Administration on the Top Navigation
  2. Under the AI Knowledge Sets heading select Knowledge Stores
  3. In the upper right select the Add Button which will open a dialog
  4. Input a Name and Description and select the Type
    1. Depending on the type of Knowledge Store selected, you will have to provide different information (Reference the Table Below)

Azure AI Search

    • Endpoint
    • API Key
    • Query Key

Azure Mongo DB

    • Connection String
    • Database

Pinecone

    • API Key
    • Cloud Provider
    • Region
  1. After the information has been input Click Save

 

 

Testing your Knowledge Store Connection

  1. Go to Administration on the Top Navigation
  2. Under the AI Knowledge Sets heading select Knowledge Stores
  3. Check the Knowledge Store you want to test the connection of
  4. In the upper right select the Test button

A dialog will appear if the connection was successful
