How to add a Time Off Time Type

Only an organization administrator has permission to create Time Types as it requires TDAdmin access.

  1. Open TDAdmin
  2. Go to Time & Expense
  3. Select Time Types
  4. Choose the "+New" button to create a new Time Type
  5. Fill out the Name, Code, and GL Account fields as needed
  6. Select the appropriate boxes in the Options section, be sure to at least mark the Time Off Type box, and make it Active
  7. If you also need this Time Off type to be limited, check the Limited box and set a Default Limit for the number of hours each user should get per year
  8. Add Help Text as needed
  9. Save your new Time Off Time Type
