Connecting TeamDynamix to Bitbucket

This how-to article will help Administrators to add Bitbucket source control integration using TDAdmin. The user must have TDAdmin access.

This article describes how to set up Bitbucket to send events to TeamDynamix for the Source Control Integration. These steps may change without notice if Bitbucket makes changes to their tool.

Bitbucket only matches users between systems based on the Source Control Username.

Setting Up the Bitbucket Connection

To set up Bitbucket:

  1. Create a Secret Key in TeamDynamix by following the instructions in the Getting Started with Source Control Integration article.
  2. Log in to Bitbucket ( and navigate to the repository from which you’d like to send events.
  3. Click the Settings link in the left navigation. You may need certain permissions in Bitbucket to access this page.
  4. Click the Webhooks link, then click the Add webhook button.

  1. Enter a Title for the webhook.
  2. In the URL field, type [tdx-url]/TDWebApi/api/sourcecontrol/bitbucket/[bitbucket-secret-key], where [tdx-url] is the base URL for your TeamDynamix environment and [bitbucket-secret-key] is the secret key you defined in step 1.
  3. Leave Status set to Active and leave Skip certificate verification unchecked.
  4. Select Choose from a full list of triggers, then select the Push and Commit comment created triggers.
  5. Click the Save button.

You should now be ready to receive events in TeamDynamix.
