Editing A Project Plan

The user can edit a waterfall project plan if the waterfall project plan needs more details added to its description or is being renamed. To edit a waterfall project plan, the user must:

  1. Go to the task list in the waterfall plan. Make sure the plan is checked out.
  2. Rename the top row just as you would a regular task. The top row should be bold to help denote that this is the plan name.
  3. Alternatively, you can go to the Details tab and choose Rename from the ribbon bar.
  4. Check in your plan.

The same concepts apply to edit a waterfall project plan's description:

  1. Go to the task list in the waterfall plan. Make sure the plan is checked out.
  2. Add the Description column to the list of columns displayed in the Web Plan Manager task list.
  3. Add your plan description in the plan row's Description field. The top row should be bold to help denote that this is the plan name.
  4. Check in your plan.
