Update a Project's Status

The project manager may update the project status and make comments that will be presented to the executive reporting tools. There are two options to update the status of a project.

A.   Projects Tab

  1. Navigate to "Applications -> Projects."
  2. Click the "Manage Projects" folder link in the left navigator.
  3. In the "Manage Projects" window, select the appropriate project.
  4. Click on the "Update Status" button.
  5. This will open the status update window.
  6. Select the appropriate status from the "Status" dropdown list.
  7. Update the Overall PCT Complete.
  8. Enter a comments relative to the status.
  9. Click the "Save" button.

B.   My Work Tab

  1. Enter the My Work Tab window.
  2. Select the My Managed Projects section.
  3. Select UPDATE.
  4. This will open the status update window.
  5. Select the appropriate status from the "Status" dropdown list.
  6. Update the Overall PCT Complete.
  7. Enter a comments relative to the status.
  8. Click the "Save" button.
