This article is written for individuals who will be working on projects within TeamDynamix. They will need to have access to TDNext, as well as access to the Analysis application.
Overview
This report displays the actual and estimated hours for each project against which time was reported in the specified month. The chart displays the table data in bar graph form. For the chart, estimated hours data will be blue and actual hours data will be green.
Running the Report
- Access TDNext > Analysis > Desktop, and drill down into the Plan Hours desktop module, or from the main TDNext Desktop drill into the Plan Hours desktop module.
- Click on the bar chart data for the month you wish to run the "Hours By Month By Project Report" for.
- A new window will open with the "Hours By Month By Project Report". The "Hours By Month By Project Report" will only display data for months that have time reported against projects (actual hours).
Using the Hours By Month By Project Report
Estimated hours are based off of project plan data. This includes project plan data that is on closed projects, even if the project plan data is dated after the projects' close dates. Actual hours are based off of time entered against open or closed projects in the month specified.

This report links to the "Hours By Month By Project By User Report". If you run this report then click on the bar chart data for one of the projects, the "Hours By Month By Project By User Report" will open in a new window. The "Hours By Month By Project By User Report" will only display data for projects that had time reported against them (actual hours).
