Accounting for Ticket Assignments in Resource Allocation

Overview

In versions 8.5 and earlier, ticket assignments would create schedules based on the estimated hours of the tickets. In versions 8.6 and later, these schedules are instead created from the Workspace. 

Instead of using individual tickets to create schedules for non-project work, managers can now utilize workspaces to manage schedules for their resources. You can also attach tickets to these workspaces so that the workspace can accrue actuals for scheduled vs. actual comparisons.
