Absence Report/ Time Off

We currently use a web form that we can request time off and it send an email daily to all IT staff showing who will be out today as well as future time off requests.

The reason we would like to get away from the web form is that if someone decides not to take time off there is no easy way to remove them from the report.

Any ideas on how to do this would be appreciated. Thank You!

Hello Denise,

We wouldn't have a way to send an email that displayed two reports essentially showing *both* time off for the current day, and in the near future.

You would need to potentially put some time reports on a desktop and share that desktop publicly so you can embed it somewhere that these folks can access, or just give them access to it so they can pop over to it at any time and see who is out the current day and who has time off scheduled for the near future.

I think you could do it with an Actual Hours report filtering it by your Time Off time types and further by your IT group(s). You might have to manipulate it a bit but it *could* work. I'm not sure if it will be able to be as exact as the report you had been working with, but try it out and see what you think.
