Changing goals in a project

If we change the goals in a project that is already underway and those goals are used in other projects will this cause issues for any of those projects? Please let me know whenever you have a moment.

Goals are simply things you've entered into your system that projects could potentially work towards achieving. You could potentially have many projects running which might have the same Goal they are working towards. This would not cause any issues. It would be the same as adding new Time Types to your project after it has started. It really does not impact anything at all as far as the tasks on that project plan and whatever.

I hope this has addresses your questions fully. Please let me know if you have any others on this topic.

Sincerely,

Goals are *created* in TDAdmin > Portfolio Planning > Goals. You can then select which goals you want to add to your project/request via the Goals section of that project/request. - Mark Sayers Fri 5/21/21 8:59 AM
