Editing Tickets: Which fields are reported as edited in the feed?

I sometimes see in a ticket feed that a ticket was edited but there is no detail on what was edited. What fields, when edited, have the detail show up in the feed? With this information, I can at least tell for these tickets it was something else that was changed. (There is nothing about the feed in https://solutions.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=3579)

Greg,

I've created a ticket for this question to better answer your question about which fields do not show in the feed as to what exactly was edited. We'll follow up with you via the ticket, and you'll receive a notification shortly from the ticket so you can view it as well.

Sincerely,

Hi Greg,

If you see a feed post that just says the incident/ticket was edited, that just means the only thing that was updated on the ticket was its Description field. That could be drastically huge to attempt to try and display what the previous field value was compared to what it was changed to, so it is not included in the automatic post that notes the incident got edited.

Any other field should tell you what it was that was edited by saying what it was and what it got changed to.

I hope this helps. If anything else comes to mind feel free to send it my way about this. If that is all you need, please go ahead and mark this response as having answered your question.

Sincerely,

Hi Greg,

Support does receive an email whenever someone posts a new answer to a question via the "Contribute an answer" button, yes. I happened to be out last week and your response question seems like it fell through for those covering.

I'll check again because this takes an escalated support response to accurately answer your question regarding how many fields exactly, and which ones, will react that way in the feed when updated/edited.

Sincerely,

I changed the "form" field and that detail was not documented in the feed. So it is more than description. What other fields behave this way?
