Ticket notifications

Are there additional settings for managing notifications, especially in ticket workflow, besides the option under Ticket type - Notify primary reviewer and others of new/edited tickets?  Our users are concerned they will get too many email notifications.  Just want to make sure I'm not missing something.

Hi Dalin,

It is not possible to opt-out of, or control the delivery of TeamDynamix notifications on a user-based level. You can, however, control some higher-level notification settings in the Admin application. For example, if you navigate to a particular ticketing application and select the settings option from the navigation, you can control whether or not tickets are defaulted to notify the requestor at the time the ticket is created. Is there a specific application you'd like to configure the notification settings for? I'm happy to point you in the right direction, or provide any additional information you think might be helpful.

Sincerely,
Phil Curl
TeamDynamix

Hi Dalin,

Unfortunately, as Phil replied, there is no way to opt-out of the notifications going to groups for ticket approval workflows. You could set people to not be notified on those groups, but then they might miss other important notifications to the group. There are no settings at this time for controlling which group notifications you might receive.

We have a multi-step workflow associated with several of our ticket types.  Most steps are assigned to a group.  It appears the entire group is receiving a notification each step of the way.  The group users feel they are receiving too many emails.  I'm trying to limit those notifications.  Hope this better explains our scenario.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.
